Job Description:
The Fire Service Sales Consultants primary function is the marketing and selling of service offerings to end users of systems including, but not limited to: fire alarm, security, sprinkler, and nurse call within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities Include:
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Follow company established marketing strategies.
- Identify and establish contact with prospective customers.
- Qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls.
- Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
- Conduct thorough site surveys to support estimate development.
- Develop and maintain a proposal backlog that will insure meeting sales goals.
- Close sufficient sales to meet assigned sales goal.
- Maintain complete records of all activities.
- Submit all required reports in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
- Three to five years of successful end user business to business sales experience.
- Experience in service sales preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to close sales based on value not price.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Comfortable and capable of using business based technologies.
