ADS Supports the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee

6/25/2010

ADS Security’s Craig Leyers, Regional Vice President and Mary Jo Rapetti, Executive Sales Consultant, presented the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee’s CEO, Pat Shea, with a monetary donation on Thursday to support their local domestic violence program.  ADS supports a variety of local non-profit groups through their Community Committee, a group of ADS employees working to make a difference in the Nashville community.

“Reaching out to local non-profits that better our community is something we value at ADS,” said Leyers, who heads up the ADS Community Committee. “The YWCA is a group that has been providing a crucial service to the women of Nashville for many years now and we are happy to support their work.”

The YWCA has been helping Nashville families leave abusive households and start new lives since 1974.  They provide free GED® education to men and women and mentor middle school girls in some of Nashville's toughest neighborhoods.  The YWCA exists to educate, encourage and break down those barriers that perpetuate racism, violence and hopelessness.
