ADS Provides a Purrfect Solution for the Nashville Humane Association
11/03/2011
ADS Security (ADS) announced today the launch of the Nashville Humane Association’s new “Kitty Cam”. In an effort to help raise awareness about Nashville Humane’s cat adoption program, ADS installed a video surveillance camera in the facility’s cat playroom. The camera streams live video to their website, where cats can be viewed daily between 10 am – 5 pm.
Cats at Nashville Humane have historically experienced a lower adoption rate than dogs, so ADS worked with the shelter to devise a solution that would generate new interest in their cat adoption program. “The Kitty Cam is a great new tool because it allows someone considering adoption to preview the cat’s personalities from the convenience of their computer,” said Lisa Reeves, Nashville Humane Association Event and Public Relations Manager. “Ultimately, we hope the Kitty Cam will send more adopters through the shelter’s doors.”
ADS is passionate about keeping pets safe and launched the ADS PAWS program last year. The program offers pet owners tools to protect their pets while they are away from home, including smoke and carbon monoxide detection, a pet safety profile, pet rescue stickers and pet cams.
